I am not an Inspiration owner, sorry for the dumb question: Not knowing what a Flow Stop is, I did quick search which revealed that it is mounted on the ADV. What is its purpose? I can guess, but real information would be more enlightening. Thanks.

Also for some bailout drills you really want it out of play. A flow stop is a compact 'in line' valve to do this. I have a second one on a regulator attached the pure oxygen. The idea is that if anybody grabs it it won't work unless I want it to.

I've seen this back in the days when regs on the O2 were commonplace.Conversely you get hate mail from Apeks technicians who have to service the poor thing after it's been repeatedly dived to over 50m unpressurised.
