advertising on Rebreather World

Right after the class they did a live aboard trip with Leon to Alaska and BC I believe, or some where near that area??? probably came home with 30 + hrs. But don't you think this should have been asked of Stuart and Sarah, instead of a condesending post? At least thats the way I perceived it.

Oh, come on. Stu is not going to get upset over my comment.

Honestly, I was only curious since I have been talking to a couple of local KISS guys who wants to do trimix on their units. With their week-end dive plan, it would take somewhere between 10-12 months for them to get 100 hours for the prerequisite.

And it took me a while as well, IIRC.

We must not be as dedicated...

I understand, Just asking

if you dive twice a week for me I would have any where from 2 to 5 hrs a week (depends on weather conditions ext.) throw in two, seven day dive vacatons 10-12 weeks is very doable

Hi all am back - dang missed this interesting thread!

Yup racked up over the 100 hours easily enough over 5 months it was basically diving one day a week in Wraysbury for a couple of hour's each time and near enough every weekend either at sea or at Chepstow. also cpl of holiday type things like 4 days diving in cyprus.

In terms or advertising on Rebreather World just working out a cpl of changes atm.

Ps I might be wrong as well but isnt IANTD Normoxic 30 hours needed and Full trimix 60 hours needed?

You are closer than what I was originally thinking...

Normoxic prerequisites:

100 dives total, 30 deeper than 27msw
20 CCR dives on particular unit
25 CCR hours on particular unit

Trimix prerequisites:

200 dives total
50 CCR dives on particular unit
no hours mentioned
