Reading a thread when you gotta scroll sideway's especially with a photo,.
Can we keep it to 800 wide, max. please Or is it just me

I would also like to see people press enter after the image, so that the text starts on a new line below the picture instead of next to it.

Sorry fellas, but I gotta disagree on this one. Most people work on a much higher resolution than 800x600. I understand the problem of aging eyes as I am currently coding for the Disability Services Commission, however with the constant demand to fit more information in a smaller space, the fact that some people use lower resolution settings is not generally taken into consideration with commercial web development, or by users uploading photos.

To give you an idea, my screen resolution is 1280x1024 but that is only because my Government screens won't go any higher

I sympathise, but believe you are pi$$ing against the tide.

True Ben but my monitor is set to 1440 x 900 and it still happens. An image width constraint and an inability to type next to it would be tops

Isn't there an some existing HTML code that fits the picture to a % of the screen size of something? That way the picture automatically adjusts to whatever resolution. I haven't looked at html tags in a long time though.

I'm not bothered too much about having to scroll the picture, but constraining it would be nice. To my mind more of a regular problem is that some people's posts have text that you have to scroll right for - not sure why though?

usually links to pages where the title is very long don't think the site wraps links
