| Re: Dive in Thailand Hello Phillipines and Thailand are relatively CCR friendly with a little prework to find the shops and locations. Several are on this board. Just do a little search and reading and you can pull a list togeather. I have not heard of any CCR support in Cambodia but I believe one of the Technical liveaboards has venture in to dive some wrecks.I am a Inspiration diver and want to dive in Asia - Phillipines, Cambodia, Thailand. There is at least one in Thailand. I am going over to Thailand in late March for two months of diving. If you plan to travel at that same time pm me and we can take more specifics. John |

Don't know what you've heard - PM me if you want to talk. I took my Mod 1 with Matt, bought my Meg through him and have been back a few times since. He is a great instructor and has always given me a top service. I'm not the kind of person who gives praise easily, and I have no relationship with his shop: I just think it's plain wrong when someone bad-mouths a good instructor. |

PhilI think you can be quite sure that if an instructor is still on the ISC Instructor list and has been instructing for sometime then you would certainly get good quality instruction. The other thing that you need to consider is how your personality and learning style will match with the instructor. You can be taught by a excellent instructor but hate every minute of it because of his/her style. You would be best to communicate with each of the instructors and talk with some of their students to learn about the style and personality side of the decision. John |
