![]() | Ordered My Prism Today Well, after a few months of debating, investigating, budgeting and diving with a Prism diver, I made my decision. I signed up for training with Ron Scorese and put the deposit check in the mail to Steam Machines. Now that the decision is made, I can't wait for training to start. I look forward to checking in here more regularly as well. Regards, Dan

![]() | Re: Ordered My Prism Today Dan, Thanks very much.Congrats... When are you expecting delivery? I'm told that a rig should be available in or around the Summer of 2007, which is when I'm hoping to schedule my training.

Seeing how easy it is to dive the unit is a definite selling point. Ron was my mod 1 instructor too, he's a good one. I still talk with him, he's always around if you have questions/concerns and gives very good support for the unit. Choosing an instructor with a solid, long standing relationship to the manufacturer is important. I'm pretty sure Ron has certified the most Prism diver of any of the instructors. And I don't know about anybody else, but I needed every damn minute of the 9 month wait for my unit to earn enough money to pay for it... -Andy |

Seeing how easy it is to dive the unit is a definite selling point. It was an important selling point for at least two reasons. First, being able to see the unit, talk to the diver (as well as divers using other models) and, since she is my buddy, learn something about the functionality, redundancies and failure modes, helped me make up my mind. Second, the idea of gear standardization appeals to me.
