How easy is it to clip out the bailout when you are still on board - or do you need to clip them on in the water?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Need ideas for attaching bailout bottles Its easy enough to clip the bottles on out of the water, they tend to hang behind/ beside your legs, it really stretches the bungy. Some one suggested keeping the neck clip on the bottle and clipping it off to a chest D ring whilst out of the water, then releasing it once you are in the water and letting the bottle swing to its correct position. Its probably easier to put them on in the water but that's not particularly practical off the average British dive boat. Simon |

Link: ADM Online That should answer most of your questions. Let me know if you have any more. Also, consider Udercounterlung D-rings: DeepSeaSupply Under Counterlung D-Ring They have never dug into my arms. You just need to position them correctly, or grow your delts ![]() Last edited by lof : 25th November 2006 at 03:27. |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Need ideas for attaching bailout bottles You could look at deepseasupply.com They make D rings that attach to the harness webbing under the counterlung but extend out to the side so you can hang a bottle without fouling the counterlung. |

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Need ideas for attaching bailout bottles The retrofit kit from Tobin at Deep Sea Supply (cool_hardware52 at Rebreather World) consists of a ss adapter that connects his backplates, wings and harnesses to PRISM CCRs, as well as a Y shaped connector for the counterlungs. You can find his post and pics at http://www.rebreatherworld.com/prism...ter-plate.html The pics are also in the PRISM gallery, page 4 or 5. Another page or two back in the gallery you'll find JDZ's backplate conversion. Addited: Pics of the DSS kit are on pages 4 and 5: http://www.rebreatherworld.com/photo...p/cat/5/page/4
