Tennessee actually. It's a better place to run a business and a much easier place to afford property, and the space that comes with it. They quadrupled the space they had before. Nice when you ship several tons of Sodasorb a month.

And instead of paying ridiculous prices to rent you pay a mortage.
No state income tax, CA has the 2nd highest in the US I believe.
Considerably less in business and employment expenses.
FedEx' US Hub is in Nashville, very convinient and quick for shipping.
A hell of a lot less traffic, noise, dirt and crime than L.A. .
In L.A. they drive with a fat free double light vanilla hazelnut cappulate in one hand and
a cell phone in the other. In TN you drive with a beer in on and a gun in the other.
And:
A sink hole on the property rather than a property in a stink hole.
