![]() ![]() | Re: Adding Dil Injection button I'll let you know JDZ. Spares are on hand (spare unit still) and will be doing the first stock order in about 4 weeks when the warehouse is up and running . As for the counter lung, I'm wondering whether it will need some kind of seal or just a very very very neat hole into which to screw the injector? |

Simo, it will be in a physically different location regardless. firstly it's easier hose routing for the diluent whip, and secondly it will be in a physically different location so no confusion under stress with O2 injection. ... It will be in the other lung and apposing. If that isn't enough of a clue even under stress you need another type of rebreather. I couldn't imagine a more ergonomic position. I put a hole im dolphin CL and I did it very slowly. measured 572 times and then I cut a small hole and then kept trimming tiny rings off of it until the pport just fitted then I tightened it down. Perfect first go. If you had it handy maybe an inspo manual add button would be good. Diluent one of course. ![]() |

I think what Simon's talking about is the bag material of the PRISM and getting a good seal. The connector and valve openings all have a ring that's different than the rest of the bag, and it's either to prevent leaks, prevent tears, or both.

![]() | Re: Adding Dil Injection button Gaskets are available from drysuit manufacturers. I got a spare awhile ago for a drysuit mod. Not sure which manufacturer it was ordered from. I got it and some extra drysuit valves from a local dive shop that has since closed. Glued it on and away I went. It sealed no problem on my trilam so I can't see cordura being a problem. |

| Go Nude Or Go Home Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Adding Dil Injection button Si The Gaskets under the Valves (see pic above) are almost indentical to those used on the Zeagle Bladders under the OPV Valves. I have a bladder cover or two spare that I can pull the gaskets off. I Will bring them down to Sydney next weekend and we will see if they are the right dia, maybe we can use your Dremal to cut the hole . Then you just have to glue them down onto the CL and screw down the Manual Add valve.Another idea might be to order some of those Double gaskets from SMI that I got in for my exsisting ADV. Cheers Chriso

![]() ![]() | Re: Adding Dil Injection button Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback. Wiz, Want the button on the front of the lung as the side mount will cause hose routing issues, and on the front it will be out of the way (starting to get a little cluttered in the centre with dry suit etc) JDZ Thanks for the link, but I'll just bludge on of chriso (free and pre cut) Stefan, yep that's what I was talking about Chriso, Yes please I'll grab the gasket. No you will not be allowed to go near my counterlung with any pointy/sharp objects ......ever. And no we will not be using my Dremel to do the incision!!!! When are you coming to Sydney then? |
