Masterful bit of PR work isn't it? I'm fighting an irrational urge to want one given I've not even seen a schematic for the thing. Their ad boys are earning their money.

Agreed, I'm thinking they'll be red curtains, dry ice, a technical looking silver cloth draped teasingly over the unit (and probably ABBA playing

) for the DEMA launch HA HA

Blimey,
Any decent info on this unit yet? I have heard it may use OTS counter lungs, some say it will be back mounted. Anybody know for sure?

Yup, we know for sure it'll have at least one counterlung. Rumours are, there'll be a scrubber using either loose lime or an EAC, or possibly both. There'll certainly be a form of PO2 monitoring too. And a harness to fit it to the diver

Sorry, couldn't resist. From what I've seen on all of these threads, we officially have no clue what it will look like.

Oh well, wait and see I guess. Though I suspect as with all rebreathers more waiting than seeing.

Seems like nothing being leaked until DEMA, when they show the unit.
Some people have seen it apparently, but are sworn to secrecy. Not quite sure why this is necessary. It would be nice to know at least what level the unit is pitched at rather than making people wait ages before they can include or not include it in making decisions.......
