| CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Cis Lunar Mk 6 Still surprised how quiet this is being kept- can't believe some members here aren't the ones being trained and able to give some feedback (albeit from pool dives) Surely the ethos and setup behind the Mk6 is the most revolutionary in the CCR industry for years- why so secret? It looks like they have an almost finished unit, evidentally lots of people have now dived and trained on it (be nice to see some open water pictures of it mind...) Maybe they aren't planning on advertising in the UK as the press here hasn't carried any adverts/news which is surprising as it was at the Dive Show here and elsewhere. I'm not scaremongering- I'm interested, just abit bemused...

Paul, I respect your choice of demanding users attend a course for the rEvo. I did not have any CCR experience so I accepted gladly.one course and qualified on the Mk 6, the Sentinel and say.. Meg or Inspi?? paul But if I was diving another mCCR or eCCR, then anything demanding over a days pool-introduction would keep me from buying it! Effectively this means I will never shearwater-upgrade the rEvo. Just did some dives with a kissed Dolhin-diver using the GF - Its simple a pie. Demending a course for the eCCR upgrade to learn how to handle solenoid-failures - come on. How different are RBs? They all the same basic-module. The same failuremodes, only few unit specifics. Nicolai

Hi Nicolai: they are different!Nicolai do you think that a newbe can learn 3 different rebreathers in a 5day course? only in time-schedule learning the maintenance and the little trics on every unit takes > 5 days, and then you still have to dive. cross over can be different, I agree, but not for fresh CCR divers! paul
