Cis Lunar MK 6 and Poseidon Germany

Hi List,

as a Poseidon Dealer here in Germany i call Poseidon Kiel today and say i want order the new Cis. I can see the big ?? via the telephone. Why order....

Poseidon Sweden said the delivery date is end of February 2008 and before the Boot 2008 Poseidon Germany becomes NOTHING.

What a Company ??!!

Oh come on, give the guys a break. Earlier this year they hadn't even heard of "Cis-Lunar" and confused when asked about "their rebreather". They got lots of catching up to do. Am sure x-mas card from Sweden will mention it.

Or just send them an e-mail with the brochure and tell you want like the little picture.

Without the CIS here in Germany....?

The guys in Kiel are very friendly and helpfully but the don´t get any information or support from Sweden. Poseidon germany is on of biggest Poseidon Distributor worldwide. Thanks to all the dealers in Germany.

They said to me: ...you can order and pay but you get nothing..

What a statement.

Well, you have to appreciate the honesty, though. Seriously.

for a variety of reasons. Cis, PRISM, Meg, BI, Visions, all had supply problems
at one or another.

Andrew Driver mentions his experiences in his Rebreather Purchase article, available on crAzy-Rebreather-diVer's website.

Most companies just aren't that open about it.

Would be interesting to know how many pre-orders they have gotten already directly through the web site. Just need someone to announce when they get order ID higher than, say 200 or 300...

Order ID itself seems to be sequential. November 10th it was #61 at morning and #64 at noon which would indicate quite decent pace, especially so if it started from 1. Also order ID is just one ID regardless if you pre-ordered 1 or 10 units or so I believe. Not sure if it would skip numbers between but thats unlikely as it is order ID and not unit number.

Ofcourse none of those pre-orders are chiseled in stone as you can remove yourself from the pre-order list and get full refund of that pre-paid sum but nonethless if they already have 100-200 pre-orders and if those actually materialize as sales, they have quite a success in their hands don't you think?

Hi Stefan,

thanks for the link. But i think when i pay a lot of money for a REB (8000,-- $ for Prism for example) a would not wait one year or longer. Ok a REB is not a mass product like a VW Golf but although this business conduct is nt ok.
Or i have the wrong attitude. Thanks for your attention.
