Wreck video database

Hi All,

I am in the process of building a wreck video database which will be available free of charge for download in streaming format from my website. There are currently about 10 available for viewing and hopefully another 10-20 will be avaiable by the end of the month.

As my video library is only small I am looking for people to donate 3-5 minute clips which will also be available from my site for others to view. This is a free service which I hope will broaden peoples desinations when they see what is around.

I am posting this in several forums so I would like to apologise for the bandwidth but if you knw anyone with a video camera and housing then pass on the details.

Hi

Andyp and i are building up a few vidios. At the moment they are on DVD and obviously way too long. So how can we format the clips to put on your site and how do we go about uploading them to you?

Hi Mark,

I am looking for 3-5 minute clips in .avi format, which is the original minidv format. I will compress them down to .wmv files for web publishing.

As I said, full recognition will be given and if you wish to sell your work I will put links and contact details.

BRETT,
I FOUND THIS SITE ONE NIGHT WHEN I WAS BORED. IT HAS VIDEO FROM LOTS OF DIFFERENT WRECK SITES. I'M NOT SURE IF IT HELPS BUT IT IS INTERESTING.

Stuart,
Not all the wrecks have video although the Carpathia and the Mary Celeste are shown in video. Given the depth of the Carpathia, I would say Dirk Pitt had to be the one taking the shots Al obviously was steering the submersible.
