![]() | Advice for camcorder in UK D8 housing I'm about to buy a camcorder with the intent to place inside an Underwater Kinetics torch housing (good for 500ft). Obviously the camera has to fit inside, but any other advice on the camcorder model? I've been looking at a Panasonic SDR H280 or H40, but also could get a JVC miniDV model. As I am new to all things video, any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Gareth |

![]() | Re: Advice for camcorder in UK D8 housing Thanks for the link Mikel, Mark's set up and report is actually what has given me the idea. I was looking for specific advice such as be better going for a miniDV or SD storage rather than hard drive, as hard drive susceptable to knocks. Does anyone want to comment on this statement? I notice that Mark's choice of camera uses SD as storage. Thanks again, Gareth |
