![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Any photographers using a fullface mask with their rebreather? Just wondering if any underwater photographers are using a FFM with their rebreather? If so does the DSV get in the way when trying to get the viewfinder of your housed camera up to your mask? |

![]() ![]() | Re: Any photographers using a fullface mask with their rebreather? yes, all the time. They do get in the way occasionally but are not as bad as many people think. I've used the Mk 48 and the Drager Panorama a great deal. My choice is the drager. The reg or DSV is angled down and away from the face plate so very little obstruction to worry about, thought the Mk 48 is perfectly useable. I tend to think that if there is a genuine reason to use a FFM then it outweighs the occasional awkward moment with the camera (video or stills). A properly set up monitor for video or a sport finder such as Aqauticas or the angled Inon for Sea and Sea, for stills, basically would completely remove any issues. For stills I use a normal viewfinder on my Aquatica, (would love the sportfinder but more important things on the need to have list) and I still dont have a problem looking through it. |
