Perch comparison shots.

The following shots were taken with an MX10 and YS40 strobe, using the macro lens. The lens gives a depth of field of 10-11” at f22, and the picture area is just under 4½” x 6½”

first one is a baby, about 3-4” long, note the smooth curve from nose to dorsal fin…

…the second a bit bigger, with a noticeable hunch forming on it’s back…

…and heeeeeeeeres Daddy [or Mummy] very pronounced hump and too big to get in one shot.
