He shot the video recently on some of the famous deep wrecks off of Malin Head, north coast of Ireland. RMS Justicia White Star Liner sunk by U-Boat in 1918, depth 70m. Excellent viz and brightness. Empire Heritage - WW2 merchantman sunk by U-Boat, depth 67m (lots of Sherman tanks to be seen) Again excellent viz and brightness. U-1271 - sunk in Operation Deadlight after WW2, depth 58m |

| Annoying fish since 1992 Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Video clips of deep wrecks off of Malin Head, north coast of Ireland Geoff adds video of the U-155 dive. A bit gloomy. Depth about 73m? (haven't dived it myself). And you can see the seal that swam around checking them out. This uboat (type IX-C) was very successful in sinking ships and was commanded by one of the 'aces' - Adolf Piening. uboat.net - Boats - U-155 I'll have to teach Geoff to use the copy/paste function so he can add the links to his own videos. ![]() |
