Video clips of deep wrecks off of Malin Head, north coast of Ireland

Geoff Millar of DiveNorth has put some new video up on YouTube. He shot the video recently on some of the famous deep wrecks off of Malin Head, north coast of Ireland.

RMS Justicia White Star Liner sunk by U-Boat in 1918, depth 70m. Excellent viz and brightness.

Empire Heritage - WW2 merchantman sunk by U-Boat, depth 67m (lots of Sherman tanks to be seen) Again excellent viz and brightness.

U-1271 - sunk in Operation Deadlight after WW2, depth 58m

Quality is an understament, i am trying to talk the wife into moving over to Ireland. Not purely for the quality of gas diving.......... honest guv.

Great videos & looks like fantastic diving.
Do you happen to know what camera Geoff is using?

I believe Geoff uses a Sony TRV20E camera with Amphibico housing.

Re: Video clips of deep wrecks off of Malin Head, north coast of Ireland

Geoff adds video of the U-155 dive.

A bit gloomy. Depth about 73m? (haven't dived it myself). And you can see the seal that swam around checking them out.
This uboat (type IX-C) was very successful in sinking ships and was commanded by one of the 'aces' - Adolf Piening.
uboat.net - Boats - U-155

I'll have to teach Geoff to use the copy/paste function so he can add the links to his own videos.
