Just out of curiosity, how much lead/weights do you guys use when diving the Pelagian with a drysuite?
Type of backplate and tanks is also of intrest!

Cheers

Tjena Johan,

With inspo 3 L steel tanks, SS 3 mm back plate, membrane dry suit, 200 thinsulate under suit I use 4 - 6 LP or 3 kgs. I just strap it on the harness waist band. No tricks needed. I think with Alu 2,7 L I would ad maybe 2 - 3 kg. I think even if those extra kgs were added on the waist band, just a bit of air in the legs would be enough to offset for good trim.

Check with Roger. I think he's got the same tanks as you have.

Andy

Tjena Andy!
Yep, you are pretty much spot on :-)
With 3mm SS BP, Neoprene drysuite and 2,7L alu tanks, I needed aprox 6kg.
I't getting a bit cramped around the waistband so thinking about going the P-veight route..See other thread....
Trim was no problem tho :-)
Btw Spherasorb rules..

Cheers
