![]() | triple display Hi, I have a question for you Boris pilots. The VR3-cased triple display on the Boris as I understand it is connected to the cells via the battery compartment(?) 1. how is it powered? 2. does it connect to a computer system or is the circuitry internal to the display? 3.could it be modified for a mCCR home build for a display? thanks in advance, JD

The VR3-cased triple display on the Boris as I understand it is connected to the cells via the battery compartment(?) I think there is some confusion here, by triple display I assume you mean the secondary, this casing has the battery installed internally a la VR3. The primary display's wiring routes out through where the VR3's battery would be, hence the confusion. The wiring from the cells goes to a potted circuit board, the signal is then split with one channel going directly to the secondary display, the other going to the electronics POD.1. how is it powered? 2. does it connect to a computer system or is the circuitry internal to the display? 3.could it be modified for a mCCR home build for a display? thanks in advance, JD Ian |

I take it I would still need the electronics to make this work with a non-Boris.Ian

The secondary display only gives PO2 and Mv so only a direct feed from the cells is required, calibration is done by means of screwing the potentionometers (sp?) in/out to match primary readings.Ian |

All I need is PPO2, mV is a bonus. Im gonna have to visit a Boris in person, maybe at the London dive show? I dont know anyone who has one, so that will have to do. ThanksIan

It's very small and looks well built. I know Carl and he makes great products! Best of luck Frankie |
