I have not dived the unit so can`t say anything from a personal view. My friend said that he notices it and it depends on the trim position in the water. He has earlier dived OTS Rebreather:s and also back mounted CL machines. Hopefully I will get to do a try dive when I get back to Finland ![]() JH Any rear mounted CL Rebreather will breathe differently than a chest or OTS CL mounted Rebreather. But theres no 'sucking'. In my experinence any difference (with Boris) is insignificant

Hey guys, just a quickie cause I'm stuck at work: Don't try Boris once and judge it: after 3 years on a Mk15.5: 1st dive ADV off: Baaaaaaaah I hate that breather; 15.5 is 1000 times better 2nd dive: Hummm interesting 3rd dive: yeah cool wob as good as 15.5, did I switch on the ADV cause I can't feel it or hear it ??? 4th dive: I love the technology (mainly when I can switch off the vibrator) 5th dive: I should sell my 15.5 55th dive: 15.5 for sale 300th dive: I love the unit when it work 100% I hate it when it work at 99% ... sorry I became addicted to the technology ![]() I pissed off a lot Kevin and his team the last 14 month but they still answer my phone calls or my mails ![]() My unit was number 002, a lot of things have been changed but Kev told me at the beginning it would happen, I accepted to play the test pilot as long as they explained me what was the problems and how they was going to solve it. Communication ... communication ... communication Bonne soiree Jerome |

However as Jerome has said the technology on the Boris is stunning, I too have had issues with the unit but I truly believe it is a world class CCR. Kevin, Jason and Nick have been nothing short of outstanding in their commitment to me the customer and in wanting to design out problems. I would not swap my Boris for the world. Cheers, Dave Cooper.

On another note what do you think make the boris a more superior unit to the 15.5 - is it the super dooper electronics?? if you just had a boris with a setpoint controler and a secondary display is the playing field leveled somewhat?
