![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Wozplate on a Boris Well I've just fitted a 5mm WozPlate onto a Boris and you know what? It looks like it grew there. Stuck a couple of WozKnobs on it too and it looks the part. The deep V and steeper bend angle of the Wozplate lets the handset and manual injector hoses past just nicely. I'm grinding a lovely big radius on the plate too so they won't chafe. |

The standard Boris backplate actually weighs more than most normal backplates, once you take into account the handle bolts anfd other paraphernalia. Any photos? Cheers, Dave Cooper.

Ive swapped the joke of a custom divers harness (which was more like some S&M outfit with all its metal rings) for a normal harness which may have cut the weight a little. Im curious as to why people would swap the original plate. The Wozplate is 4kg so its heavier than the original - is that the reason? To remove weight from the weightbelt? Or is there an advantage Im missing? As I travel a lot with my unit I want the lightest plate I can get.
