The Material is about 1/8 inch thick and is rigid. The installation was easy with a 7mm socket. It isn't like a Inspiration scrim. I was told that it is the same hydrophobic membrane that is used on the US Navy mark 16. which means it's a proven material. It can clearly save you from a caustic mouth wash if you flooded or have a leak in your loop. Like Jermoe.........I still Hoover my scrubber because I'm a little paranoid about the dust and I don't want any entering my counter lungs or mouth. I've been using soda sorb which is much dustier then sofonolime. The price for the material is high....But I think worth it. I'll be diving and If I have any problems with it I'll post a up date.
