Re: boris stands

Yeap, very nice indeed. By the look of the latch position it is one of the earliest Boris.
I am waiting for Kevin to come up with his foam stand. Which will give that extra lift a the back especially in fresh water. My lower back keeps asking for it, especially after few hours!

Cheers,

I had a friend make a Boris stand out of titanium thats 5.5 inches tall. I originally wanted to put a tank on the bottom but I now store a 200lb lift bag there. I went with titanium because I didn't want any more weight in the ass of the kit. I also have a top mount to hold a steel 8 cube tank for (dry suit/ BCD inflation) It works real well for perfect trim in the water. I wish I could get my cell phone pics on my PC then I could show them off. If you would like to see them I can send them to a cell phone that excepts pictures. Looking at your mount your probably going to have to cut more out on the bottom to get to your shut offs. I also put 3/16th inch thick rubber between the kit and the stand

PS I'm going on vacation so I won't have access to the web until Friday 4/21/06
