![]() ![]() | true facts hi guys, just to say my opinion, Ouroboros have the best safety and redundancy design, with a fantastic scrubber. in water superb. they have to improve some litle thinks , but in general it´s the best machine on market . sorry but it´s true. Aldo you will see mine, in july , if.... Fil, very good moments with inspiration, and it´s dificult to accept the reality. with Ouroboros you can go much deeper and longer. it´s an expediton unit. cheers to all, and deep dives Jose |

You've seen the inside of one right?Just curious - can't afford one... ![]()

Stainless steel knitting. ![]() Just thinking through the comment about the Boris being an Expedition rebreather. No reason why it shouldn't be but unless dived (dove? ) Alpine, all that "nice to dive" will be offset by the bailout. Was wondering how the Expedition divers handle bailout on it? Would Boris divers like to mount external cylinders on the unit or are they happy slinging? |

![]() | Re: Just ordered a Boris :D £8,000 AND you have to dive in Stoney Cove! If I had realized you were that desperate for a decent rebreather I would have leant you my Meg. Well I guess we won’t have to worry about you getting stuck in any ‘small’ holes anymore, but let me tell you now we are not giving up any more table space on the Empress, so you better get them to put some feet on the damn thing (we only let KD do it cause he is so old). Look forward to seeing it in the flesh, good luck with the course. Regards, Fred |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Just ordered a Boris :D On the Ouroborus you could change the harness, wing and backplate (but it would need to be of a similar design to the original) and that is about it. The unit itself feels heavier on your back than say Inspiration so I would say slapping blooming great tanks on your back would not be an option , it would be very uncomfortable (you would need to be inventive enough to find a way of attaching them). The carbon fibre box is an itergral part of the CCR so a DT type conversion isn't a possibility (in my opinion). The only bottle addition you could do (apart from side slung tanks) is a dry suit bottle attched to the back plate. Though I would suggest the dry suit bottle runs the wing and the dry suit comes from the sidemount (it would be neater). F |

He is having a bracket made for the bottom of the unit to hold a small bail out. I will post the pictures when it's complete. Dive Safe Mark |
