maintaining a BORIS

How often does the BORIS need servicing and does the unit need to go back to the factory?

Re: maintaining a BORIS

I might be wrong but I think you should add every 200 hours or 2 years, which ever comes first ...

This is right. Every 200 hrs.
There's a general check and electronic upgrade.
I did it before because I was already there.
Just now (after 3 years) I had an electronic problem and had to ship the POD back.

Cheers

Re: maintaining a BORIS

After 600h and 3y I had to change the seats of the O2 and Dil xstream 1st stage after both OPV got stuck open (I guess that's what they made for) apart from that all the rest is working great

Superb unit to fly at -6m or -191m
