Mmm yes I remember that day very well!
Although I'm sure the person concerned will say the reason it took him so long was because he didn't have the right tool.....

Re: Boris Scrubber.

Hi...

I bourgth my unit used, and the guy who had it before me, told me, that he glued the wings inside the scrubber. I havn't had the wings fall out, even if I gently bash the scrubber from behind, when I empty the scrubber...

When I say glue it, it's just a tiny amount of glue, just to secure the wing... Then if you want to, you actually still can take it apart...

Cheers

Well there's thanks for you!!! ..I don't know... after everything we did to try to assist....useful suggestions, access to a fully supplied workshop, burgers...

In truth the errant fin was proving a total sod to reinsert. Was wincing at the thought of it snapping and trying to keep a low profile towards the end too.

Hope things are well with you Dave.. look forward to meeting up again soon

Funny you mention that, as that's exactly how Dave ended up doing his, with a small pair of pliers.

Mind you he did have the advantage of being sat at a nice workbench in a well lit room.
