Hud

I have a problem with my HUD which I am returning to the factory to get checked (the blue LED appears to have failed).

I stupidly thought that I could disconnect it at the HUD end of the cable.

I have been told (by Jason) that in fact it is the end by the Pod that needs to be unscrewed and the other end should only be disconnected at the factory.

Of course the Pod end is a bit more tricky to get to.

I suppose everyone else was fully aware of this but I figured if I save someone the cost of a new HUD then parading my ignorance is worth it.

Re: Hud

Please ignore last posting - there was a misunderstanding.
Apparently some of the units have a 12-way connector fitted on the hud line.
Mine doesn't so returning the HUD to the factory means shipping HUD+Pod or the whole unit.

Good news is that the CCRB are aware of an issue with the BLUE LEDs and the replacement isn't going to cost me anything.
