New version of Boris

Just received my new Boris in newest version. The version is 5.2A. Biggest difference is the wet connectors are removed and it´s with Lithium Rechargeable batteries.

The unit now has auto breathe systems, which detects if ppo2 drops.

This is great, I think we all have heard on the vibrator when driving home from a divesite

.

Look forward to dive the unit, and see the lasting on the battery system.

I was told that they will offer upgrade to older versions to get rid of wet connectors...to those that havent long since snipped the wires

They're working on the pricing of the upgrade now, snipping the wires is ok but it doesn't give you the autobreathe software

Functions:

1. Turn on if ppo2<0.18bar adn >0.05bar
2. Turn on if ppo2 drops more than 0.05bar in 1 minute.
3. If the cells are removed the display will read 0,00 the unit will switch on after 1 minute after that it can be stored with the auto breathe system in sleep mode to conserve battery power.

Hello,

I saw the new kits when Kevin and Phil were out in the DR for Rebreather week.

Looks like a trick mod ...

I am hoping I will be able to upgrade soon !!!
