We have shipping down to a fine art, but I am sure people who sell dive tanks can still teach us a thing or two. Service will be line with contemporary service charges. At these prices, discounts are just not possible: think of the unit as already having an 80% discount built in compared to some units out there just now, then it looks much less painful. There are lots of questions I'd like to ask. | CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Any news? No, David was right. Well F*** me.... It is available plain, and with electronics. Plain means not a wire in sight. The plain unit is intended for those who think they can do a better job on the electronics, or want something different, regardless of what I think. Fact is plain mCCRs seem to have a good safety record for now, so if someone puts their own monitor on and goes diving, I will be relying on a well written waiver. Even without electronics the unit has an extremely low WOB, light, tough and very few failure points: a big improvement for most divers. It gives an opportunity for other companies to offer all sorts of monitors and accessories on what is fundamentally a very solid base, rather than trying to do their own base every time - that is really expensive. The unit should open up opportunities for more companies to be involved with rebreathers. A more beautiful back cover would be a good start ... or the gas switching block for deep dives using a combine ADV/BOV. I can see some companies adding an eCCR controller to the sports mCCR, and granular scrubbers - much as I do not like them for safety reasons, I am sure someone will add it: if they use DraegerSorb the WOB will increase by 1.1J/L and still be less than most rebreathers out there. Alex ![]() That must be some waiver! After all this safety talk you guys are going to sell a kit that you're going to trust us to finish for you and dive!!!! Astonishing, good, very good... but astonishing ![]() ![]()

After all this safety talk you guys are going to sell a kit that you're going to trust us to finish for you and dive!!!! It is realism. We respond to it by trying to be really good with the Rebreather monitor, so people buy it and use it. Alex |

| CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Any news? PFD lights show O2 on the left, for each cell, PPCO2 and major system warnings on the right. The user can set them into stealth mode (where only problems are shown), night vision mode (where all green lights become amber-red) and standard mode (where red is only used for serious alarms). Please consider us Colour Blind people- red, amber and green lights that close together out of focus at the end of your nose are really hard to tell apart... Red, Blue and White would be better!

There is a dive computer, as a separate development but links automatically to the rebreather controller. Status is it has been designed, electronics have been production engineered, mechanics have been sampled, software is work in progress.Does the Rebreather have a deco software/computer option or is a third party computer required for this? I'll wait till september now... Thanks, jm Alex |
