It is pretty straight forward, but the charging voltage is non-standard (3.6V target voltage), so none of the Li-ion charging chips work for it.![]() Rather have a safe battery than a smaller one that blows up. My initial understanding was that they could be charged much like the other battery options. Your mentioning of an unusual charging circuitry is interesting. Can you elaborate on this? It takes the microcontroller to charge the battery. Plugging in USB power powers the micro and also provides the battery power. ARM 7 micros are very cheap, fortunately. Alex |
