Wattmeiser solenoid options

I have a Meg with Apecs 2.00 and the Wattmeiser (sp?). I don't believe there is an upgrade for me, since new software won't work with the old solenoid and vice versa.

If the trusty WM solenoid goes Tango Uniform on me, are they still available?

Thanks,

Eric

Can 2.00 drive the new solenoid though?

Thanks, Eric

BTW, did you find out anything from Gene about the HS?

No - the injection rates are different between the two solenoids and the Jaska requires longer firing times, thus different software.

That's what I thought. So I'm stuck with a head change unless the wattsmeisers are still available in the event of the solenoid croaking.

Re: Wattmeiser solenoid options

The Wattmizers can be had for cheap, but you have to purchase a minimum of 100: Miniature Valves : 12 Volt Solenoid Valves : Special Materials Solenoid Valves : Solenoid Solutions Inc

Last time I talked to Jerry at ISC he said they can easily do an upgrade to the Jaska and newer software, but I didn't ask the price. If you find out what the cost is please let us know.

You can upgrade the solenoid for 250US and the software to 2.06 for another 100US and that should work for you.

p.s nothing yet from Gene, will call him again tomorrow.

OK. That would be a great option then. Thanks.
