Number of COPIS Megs in Canada?

Wondering how many other COPIS Meg owners there are up here?

You sure like to stir the pot? Next time bring a spare O2 tank if you are going to drive 3 1/2 hours for a dive!!

LOL...now that I have developed such an efficient gas usage profile, I only need 1200 psi to get the maximum scrubber life out of my Copis.

Actually, I am currently designing a Tigergear adaptor for use with my 6 cuft Luxfer cylinders. I will be able to fit my Rebreather into my carryon and store the cylinders (without valves) inside the canister. I am almost certain I can use my LP 14 cuft's as bailout bottles. <TIC>

As a "newbie" Meg user (just coming up to 80 hrs Rebreather total time) a lot of the ongoing self=education comes from reading items posted on this board. Have read your post several times to see if it was in jest (the <TIC> comment) as it seems to be in total conflict with other posts/threads regarding using bailouts and cylinder size usage recently posted on the board and what I have learned from people I respect in Thailand, Canada and Mexico.
If you are serious it would seem to be very fool hardy - but each to his own I suppose. What would be your bailout plan after 45 minutes at 40M on your proposed setup be or is this purely for slough-pool training/practise?

I guess it is the silly season.....if the comments are in jest - good one for stirring things up .... if serious the phrases "body bag", "hardly used Copis" and "pot season-ticket holder=only used one time" come to mind.

Confused........

Yes, honest...

<TIC> Tongue in Cheek?

If one were cognizant of his/her Surface Air Consumption <SAC> rate, the impossibility of this feat at a planned depth greater than 10msw would be obvious.

That having been said ... and again all in good clean fun...

I KNOW I can personally use a LP14 cuft cylinder as a bailout from at least 80 msw.

This is only possible however, by skip-breathing every 45 to 60 seconds, while maintaining a constant infusion of 66/33 mixture dihydrogen monoxide.

not only that ... while doing so,

I too can sell a "Meg a Month", "Meg a Month"

Visit DHMO.org to find out more

John, I fear that the DHMO has gone to your head, stop the madness now! See your physician and have the offending compound drained off.

And stop sniffing the damn stuff, its an addiction! Find a 12 step program, quick!

and anyone can sell a meg a month.....for one month straight, especially if one buys the said meg themselves... : )
