Problems with neoprene lungs

Hi all

I have had 2 punctures since i started using the meg, and am not happy with them. Has anyone got custome sised cordura counterlungs made for them from ISC? Can they make them as you want or is it just a slight modification on the existing ones.
For me the only advantage of the neo lungs is the sise.

Greetings

Jim

How many hours on the unit before you noticed the leak?

Re: Problems with neoprene lungs

Hi Dave

I Noticed the first puncture the while prepairing for the first dive after the corse. The second one was yesterday (11Hrs). Both holes are in the inhale lung right beside the T pice. i'm realy very careful transporting the unit since the first puncture, but it still dident help.

Sounds like the neoprene may have already had the pinhole to start. Oh well I understand it is very easy to repair leaking neoprene CLs.
I have heard of people sewing the inner seams of the cordura CLs up and I know one person who did not have a good experience with the smaller CL volume.

Re: Problems with neoprene lungs

A dab of aquaseal works wonders. I had pin holes may show up when doing the postive pressure test. But when diivng the pressure is much less and the holes didn't leak.
