![]() ![]() | Re: LP 13 on an Optima Marty, not sure what you mean by "too large"? Too long perhaps? Can you paste a photo? I have replaced the stock verlcro tank straps with cam straps, which I feel are more secure, They also allow me to use and secure other size tanks, 13, 19, 30's, as well as when I dive with the back cover off. ![]() ![]() | Re: LP 13 on an Optima Marty, are you using the stock velcro straps? If so, I am guessing that you are finding that the "velcros" dont touch as I think, the 13's steel are probably smaller in diameter. ( not sure as I use 13's AL and they fit well). If so: extend the velcro by glueing or sewing an additional piece of velcrop on the strap or get shorter starps. You might want to give Mark at Fill Express a call: 1-954-786-0661 or send him a note: N2diving@FillExpress.com I believe he uses 13's steel. Let me know how you make out! Cornel

| EBT called me stroppy! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: LP 13 on an Optima $225 for the FX upgrade. If you would like one pair of valves along with the upgrade, they can be had for $50. If the valves are ordered seperately (not with a FX upgrade) standard pricing applies. Tanks are seperate and it would probably be in your best interest to get them directly from your dive shop (through Sea Pearls.... part number is ST-13 for the little steels), but they can be had through Dive Rite, as well. Availability on the upgrade... not quite there yet -- we're waiting on the Remora tank mounting brackets to get here...don't have an exact ETA as they are crossing the Atlantic slow boat. If you would like to do the upgrade, first of all wait until it's ready. When it's ready, it'll post here on Rebreather World and on the Optima owner's community forum. You'll need to send back to us the inner, black shell and the metal strip that is bolted to that shell. Cheers

| EBT called me stroppy! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: LP 13 on an Optima Valves? What kind of valves? That'd be a pair (a left and a right hand) of Dive Rite 300 bar valves. One will have a green knob. These are just like the valves you have on your 27's.
