![]() ![]() | Looking for short-fused training I am moving to Italy in a few weeks and the bug has bitten me hard. This incredible forum has provided an unbelievable amount of information in a short time. I am looking for what I suppose would be Mod 1 training with the Optima around the first week in December. Is it normally required that an individual hold a Nitrox cert prior to rebreather training? It's really kind of a last minute thing, but I think it would be much easier to get it done here before I leave than it will be in Italy since I am already in the southeast right now. Any suggestions? |

You can also aim the OW CCR diver and in that case you only need nitrox certification. You got there some extra training days before the Optima... Anyway, I would suggest you talk to JP Jones for more information as he is an instructor for the Optima (he was my instructor) and could give you better advice. Good luck, Zé. |

This incredible forum has provided an unbelievable amount of information in a short time. Mel Clark has a CCR class that starts on Dec 12th. She now has two COPIS students and could take an Optima student in on that class.I am looking for what I suppose would be Mod 1 training with the Optima around the first week in December. Any suggestions? Where are you located and will that timing work for you. We are up in Seattle, WA. |
