Re: Optima/ Micropore Questions

I was just curious about the statement "he has just completed his PHD with the Navy" because I am an academic and had never heard of the Navy conferring Ph.D. degrees with the possible exception of the Naval Academy. Having been raised in a military family, I already know that all branches of the military pay for education for some of their personnel at all levels. When my dad was recalled to active duty in the 1950s the Air Force paid for him to finish up his college degree. It helps the military, the educational system and the individuals who get the degrees. Its a great system and I congratulate Joe on his accomplishments.

Lets not forget the men and woman who are in harms way; this includes the private contractors who support and are private warriors.

Well said, our freedom was paid for with the blood of our young men and women. This generation is much better trained and educated than any before it and for one I'm verry proud of them.

Jim,
I am sorry, my comments were never directed towards yourself sir.
I was just making a general reference to my own thoughts- sorry if it seemed to be directed towards yourself that was never the intent.

I have followed some of your comments on “Coastal Sinkholes"in the past and I have been thrilled by your academic work in this area. I would like to see more work don in this area.

Recently been diving the Texas Flower Gardens and looking for potential new sites there. I am curious to see if the Salt Domes have caves, or more interesting formations such as Spires. This next season there might be a technical trip out to the banks- and that would be very exciting.
