HH wiring harness

Just wondering if perhaps using heavier gauge wire might be an improvement?

I don't see the need if you take care of things.. on my HH lid for the inspiration I am still using my ORIGINAL harness from 2003!!! The only thing I had to do was resolder one of the wires at the bananna connector that I managed to break..

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. I personally don't like the bannana plugs that are used. I find that they don't fit as tight as I like bannana plugs to fit. They still work ok, but I like a fair amount of tension on the plug. That saying, I've never had a bad connection due to the plugs or wiring. I've only had to clean the connections occasionally.

If you were ever faced with the large $$$'s ($1000 or more on the Inspo) to replace the whole dam loom
because a piece of wire worth 2 cents is corroded you would like them alot more you might even love them.

Re: HH wiring harness

I've had to replace my wiring harness twice due to failures.

Are you refering to the "cell" wiring harness?? Or the cable running from the handsets to the head?
