I don't see the need if you take care of things.. on my HH lid for the inspiration I am still using my ORIGINAL harness from 2003!!! The only thing I had to do was resolder one of the wires at the bananna connector that I managed to break..

I personally don't like the bannana plugs that are used. I find that they don't fit as tight as I like bannana plugs to fit. They still work ok, but I like a fair amount of tension on the plug. That saying, I've never had a bad connection due to the plugs or wiring. I've only had to clean the connections occasionally.

If you were ever faced with the large $$$'s ($1000 or more on the Inspo) to replace the whole dam loombecause a piece of wire worth 2 cents is corroded you would like them alot more you might even love them. ![]() John |
