HH buttons get stuck when it's 29 deg F

HH buttons get stuck when it's 29 deg F

HH buttons stick in cold weather
any solutions when the buttons are stuck -pre dive on the boat 29 deg F? can u spray them with something before hand, put them in my pants, sit on them like a chicken??? could n't change SP till i jumped in.

I can honestly say I havet seen that happen, especially since there are no moving parts..


Were you trying to operate it with a gloved hand?? if so what king of glove?? I have done ICE diving with surface temps MUCH colder than 29f and had no issues at all..

I saw the same thing happen when the air was aroun -5C and water +3C. When I pushed the button it kinda stick to the bottom. So it kept scrolling in the menu without pushing the button.

It started working normal after a few mins in the water.

Interesting... Are we talking about the metal/delrin handsets or thoe old acrylic units.. I did see some weird stuff with the acrylic units but not units using piezo switches since they really dont move..

I think mine are the newest delrin ones.

I was also a bit surprised about the behaviour because I know that there is no moving parts inside the button.

I am wondering if the buttons changed... The ice diving that I did was on the earlyt AL units..
