Dry Covers For HH Handsets?

Anyone found a good cover to keep the handsets dry on long boat rides where the spray is coming hard & heavy?

I've tried baggies, but they don't work all that well. I'm looking for something that will cover & almost seal around the handsets & clips so they don't stay on for the ride out to the wrecks....

There is a very easy solution.. I put a piece of duct tape across the wetswitch.. The handsets can get soaked and they wount come on.. Then just pull it off when you are ready to dive..

That is a good tip. Now if someone can follow that up with a way to get duct tape off your handsets at 30-40' with 6mil gloves on, we'll be all set ...

Fold the end of the tape over on itself so that you have something to grab onto...

The seal is not that good.. there is no oring behind the bezel.. if you couldn;t get the tape off it would still start up, but water spashed across the front doesnt seem to activate it..

Thanks guys - good info, all. Next time, though, I'll just have to make sure that my humorous replies are more clearly humorous!

If you want a step up from the duck tape solution. I found a couple of neoprene wine bottle holders in Linens and Things that fit perfectly the HH handsets. I think they were $7 a piece.
