There are those that follow the forum and want or interested in Rebreather's but have no real access to one or only seen them at shows or whatever. DiveRite has started a nice RB experience on their traveling tech tour...they come around to various dive spots and let you try the gear, talk to you whatever...this year they brought along a Optima to let people like me that have always wondered what it would be like to dive one...after a 40 min. briefing and of course them setting it so we really didn't have to watch anything but the HUD for green we got in the water one at a time with John Faircloth for a spin....nothing special just down to the platform around 6m at the quarry in Pelham Alabama...tried my best to get the hang of it, trying to squelch the OC tendencies...I enjoyed my 15 min and I now know at least what it's like to some degree...kudos to Dive Rite .....of course the intent worked ..now I want one....

Let us know when you will be picking up your new Optima. (We know you are getting one even if you don't realize it yet.)
