Thank you Optima Divers

Just wanted to say thank you to several South Florida Optima divers who were kind enough to join me on my first dives on my unit after being certified. I had planned to spend the weekend in the Ft.Lauderdale area diving and I PM'd one of the other members here, "scubadadmiami". He helped in setting up other Optima divers to join in on an OPTIMA Rebreather dive. I was truly thankful.

I wish I had a camera to see all the OPTIMAs lined up on the boat.

Thank you to Howard, Marty, and Mark. When I return to South Florida again, I will look you up again. Thanks to Rebreather World for having this site. I hope other people can benefit as I have.

Doug

Cheers to the Florida S.C.R.U.B.s! If any Rebreather World members are ever in South Florida, please join us on some fun CCR dives. (We'll even let you dive with us if you are not on an Optima. )

We all had a great time yesterday, and things will only get better as Summer comes along and more members take delivery of ordered units.

Scubatyme was very accomodating and allowed us our longer bottom times as needed. The crew was professional and prompt to pick you up when you surfaced. I would use them again in the future.

Thanks

Re: Thank you Optima Divers

We (Fill Express) have worked with ScubaTyme extensively and captain Chris and divemaster Amanda are quite familar with the needs of O2ptima divers. They understand how to handle our units, they have a system for securing them on the boat, they understand we need a bit earlier warning so we can start our pre-dive, and know how to help clip bailouts etc.... This is my favorite boat for doing O2ptima certfications as well.

When the conditions and situation allows they have been very accomodating to extended runtimes.... in fact we reqularly get them to put Lisa and I in first before the others and allow us to just stay down for the entire 'first' dive, stay down thorough the OC divers surface interval, continue through the 'second' dive and pick us up when everyone else is back on board.... giving a single dive with a runtime of 3 hours.

Could someone please take pictures next time? It sounds like I might need to take a drive

Re: Thank you Optima Divers

On Mark's recommendations I have used ScubaTyme as well several times.
I find them to be very professional and very accomodating for Rebreather divers.
Highly recommend them!
