Has anyone been significantly deeper than 330 fsw (100 M) on an O2ptima? First hand knowledge only... no 'rumors' please.

I have not been any where that I could get deeper than 300ft but if Tom can ever get me to the Caymans I will.

Re: How deep have you been on an O2ptima?

I haven't been to 330 or even 300. My deepest was at Eagle's Nest last December with another Optima diver, Jeff Johnson. Our max depth was 272...total dive time 132 minutes....73 degrees Farenheit....Run time was 5 minutes to reach 120 feet, 11 minutes to get to 200 and stayed around 250 from 11 minutes through 35 minutes (24 minutes on the 'bottom').

Jeff ran his GF less conservatively than I did and was out of the water around 30 minutes before I was. I run the 30/75 GF and find it matches OC dive buddies rather nicely.

I have been bellow 100 m for several times to a maximum of 127m. The 127m dive was in the Red Sea in 21șc waters (cold for that region). Total dive time was 118 minutes. Bottom time 12 minutes.
I would like to know of other dives to these depths. Anyone?

Why not go this August for the next CCR week? Would like to see more Red boxes in there with all those Yellow and boxeless units...
