Is Training at Inner Space convention worth it?

I'm looking to take the recreational level course for the Megalodon.

Comparing prices for training, including scrubber, gas fills, hotel, food on location, open water dives, it is fairly financially reasonable for me to take the training during Inner Space at Divetech in Grand Cayman.

That said, I am curious as to how the quality of training would be.. Safe? High or Low student to instructor ratio?... Plenty of time to review skills as necessary?

Innerspace Package
Single Garden Room $2237
Student Additional Rate $551

Airfare to Grand Cayman $642

Total Cost $3430

VS

Drive to Mid Atlantic Coast, or Florida, or Flying to Washington $200+
Gasoline and if flying, Rental $200+
Actual Course $1200+
Scrubber and Gas for the week $150+
A few boat dives $200+
Hotel $420+
Food $210+

Total Cost $2580+

The former of which lets me go to presentations and all that fun stuff at InnerSpace, nice warm Caribbean waters, and lots of stuff to see. Plus get to meet alot of future dive buddies.

The latter of which *might* get me a more individualized course with more quality time with the instructor.

For less than a grand more, I think the Innerspace is sounding like a better deal, provided I learn what I need to, safely.

-Thanks in advance for your opinions, and comments,

Scott
