Looks like it... as you know, most of my kit needs replacing, so nows the opportunity.

Can't quite make my mind up which unit to go for. It seeems to be very difficult to get an objective view.

What made you go for the Classic?

Hi Paul,
To be honest I really wanted a Boris, but price ruled it out at the moment. A mate had a well specified classic for sale at a very attractive price so I decided to buy it, do Mod 1, and get a season in on it. When I am ready for mixed gas I will reconsider.

Are you likely to buy soon? If so let me know...

Re: Now I've done it

I'm wanting to. Like I said, just can't quite make my mind up which unit.

As an Engineer there are a lot of features on the Boris that I think are very well thought out. The difficulty is in matching that with my total lack of Rebreather experience!.
Obviously the price is prohibitive, then again if you're getting what you want and can afford it.....

One thing that is bothering me a little is the number of Boris' that seem to be coming up for sale recently... No one is saying they're having issues, then again people don't tend to say they made a mistake on a 9k purchase...

Any thoughts?

Paul, If you are seriously considering a Boris I can put you in touch with someone who knows an awful lot about them, who can tell you exactly what the issues are and exactly what has been done about them.

Give me a call. You've got my number
