Thumbs up Re: Buying, training, possibly importing?? in the red sea

Hi,

I collected my second hand Classic KISS (#051) on Saturday and Digger kindley looked over it before agreeing it was all in order and worth the money asked for it. We took it for a brief dive on Sunday on Capernwray, which was usefull in highlighting the need for adjustment in trim and weighting. The seller had fully cleaned / dieinfected it before he sold it and prepped it for diving. The bleach?? cleaner tasted positively fowl and at times had me nearly gagging . I'm assured this is normal after a thorough clean.

Anyway, I'm happy with the deal I got and looking forward to booking a course for the Spring of 07.

Normal, but not right. You should do a thorough rinse after cleaning....

Cool, you're not exactly short of instructors in the UK and abroad. I know Martin Robson and Dave Thompson are both sound on the Classic and post here too occassionally.

Thanks, I plan on rinsing asap. I was going onto the DSV and rinsing my mouth out under water on Sunday. Digger did look a little puzzled at this until he realised what I was doing and why and they found this very funny :-( I'm hoping to book with Rich Stevenson on one of his courses soon, I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago.
