![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: missed deco??!! i'm still relatively new to CCR diving and have been diving the evo w/vision for about 6 months. I think you have two issues: 1. a sticky ADV. it may need to be worked on or maybe just soaking it longer in fresh water, pushing on the diaphram a few times will loosen whatever it is that is making it stick. 2. it sounds like you are having the now, apparently commong timing bug that some vision users have had. software update don't always fix this issue. The easiest fix i know if is to hold your power button down for three seconds while it turns on, so that the computer fully updates all it's clocks. It's shocking to me that AP has not fully taken care of a persistant problem that breeds serious distrust in the vision electronics. It is my opinion that it is not that big deal, but was nearly the last straw that nearly caused my wife throwing her unit on the curb. Basically what has happened to you is that by switching the computer on without holding the power button down long enough, the computer has skipped much of the surface interval and started adding to your previous dive's OTU and deco limits as if the whole time between when you shut it off and restarted it never happened. Call AP and let them know you are having this problem, they apparently need to hear it over and over. If holding down the power button does not fix this problem then go for an upgrade. if holding down the power button does fix the problem then i would seriously consider holding off until the next version of the software comes out as it seems that current upgrades have not solved the issue for everyone and may introduce new issues. IMHO oh, ps. I think once the miscalculation occurs, you have to wait 24 hours and then start up the controller holding the button down for 3 seconds. Restarting the computer right away probably won't help, but i'm not sure.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: missed deco??!! See http://www.rebreatherworld.com/inspi...ion-elecs.html I have had a problem with handset showing missed deco, very odd when i only have the basic timer software version. I contacted AP, who asked me to send them a CCX file, Which i did. They then contacted me to say the update to version 02.01.02 had not taken properly. And they would send me the file again to upload and it should cure the problem. The file i recieved from AP was 02.0102b so it seems to me they have a revised version of the latest software (version B). So they must have known issues with 02.01.02 and just not told anyone . ![]() | Re: missed deco??!! Thats seems to happen when you have a low b1 battery. It wont show at start up right away Take the b2 battery out and put it in the b1 slot and put a new battery in b2 slot. Start it up and hold down the button for a count of 3. You will still get the warning thought. Shut it off for a count of 3, there is no way to reset the missed deco and OTUs other than time. When it has a new battery it will start to count down the deco and OTUs check in a couple of hours it should have started to count down it my take 24 to 48 hours to reset. the same thing happed to my vision after a dive trip. I let it set for 3 weeks and had the same problem this is the only thing that worked.
