Question Courses

Hello!!

As I am an absolute beginner in rebreathing (only one SCR dive so far...), I'd like to ask the experts:
My experience so far: scuba and nitrox instructor with 2200+ dives. I'd like to begin with rebreathers - but which one??? And how many courses? First SCR and the CCR? Or first Trimix, then CCR? Or just straight for CCR?
I tried hard to find some info on the web, but it appears that nobody in or around Vancouver offers any courses Any idea???

So... please HELP!!!!

Re: Courses

Run a search here on that topic. I recall a thread about this within just the last two months or less. It had to do with doing Trimix or CCR first.

There is a couple of people around BC. Bruce Partridge is in Vancouver and there ia Bill Colart on Vancouver Island. We have a Rebreather comunity that it growing very rapidly. In our little community here we have Evolution, 2 X Inspiration, 2 X CCR Dolphins, Hammerhead Inspiration, and a Meg. I'm sure that that are more up Island.

Re: Courses

People have told me to do OC trimix before CCR trimix. The reason is that you'll better appreciate the cost savings of trimix on CCR if you've bubbled away $$$ of helium on OC!
