Jonathan,

I have been diving the cartridges for well over two years in my YBOD and have been very happy with them for many of the reasons that you have noted. Much of my diving is like yours in the 200-300 fsw range.

Good luck with your optima if you go that way...

Dive Safe

Congrats on your decition!! it's not an easy one to make but it sounds like you have taken careful consideration so there should not be any surprises. i know i was very drawn to the feel of the optima in the water. look forward to your future updates as you jump through the hoops. happy diving!

Agreed - I finally got mine, got it working, worked out a few bumps and it is working great. Now I just need to dive more - Ah, the glamorous life of owning a dive shop - eh?
