what rebreather do i buy???

I'm looking at buying a rebreather and I want to make sure I get the right one for what I want out of it. I haven’t done any Rebreather diving as of yet, I’m a PADI Instructor and now wish to venture into RB and Cave diving. I'm after maximum bottom time and depth as I am very interested in going to the limits of everything and I know I'm nowhere near that level yet but due to the high cost of diving especially rebreathers I want to make sure I get a high performance RB now, The two I have been looking at is the Evolution and the Megalodon, I have only just started looking a RB’s so I'm leaning just needing a point in the right direction. If anyone has any thoughts or recommendations please post them here.

Hi there,
First, welcome to the Forum. You will find lots of usefull information here on the board which will help you make your purchase decision. As from what I can read, you are considering, deep, long bottom times and caves. I would have to probably say look into the Megalodon, or maybe another choice might be the Ouroboros.

My 2 cents,

RBN

Welcome to the forum! you'll find theres plenty of stuff worth reading on here first, to inform you before you take the plunge.

As for maximum depth/time, why? Theres plenty to see and the old adage about old and bold divers has some truth to it
