Hey everyone, how you wise people can help me, i just recieved my inspiration rebreather, and i put the batteryus in it and tried to turn it on, the left hand controler will turn on, but the right one wont, i have replaced the batteries, and atempted to turn the right one on first, still no luck, any advise? Also, the left handed one gives to little clicks as the tabs are slid up, the right hand one doesnt see to do this, is that normal?

Swap the batteries over so that you can run the handset on a known good battery. Also, the left handed one gives to little clicks as the tabs are slid up, the right hand one doesnt see to do this, is that normal? Are the batteries making contact with the springs in the battery compartment? We could go further but, is this a new Inspiration or a second hand one? Either way perhaps you should ask your supplier this question. |

| Proper Boffin ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Cant figure it out! Again, is it new or second hand? If new, then contact AP or your instructor, if second hand, read on.... Ask the supplier if he's changed the handset magnets (immediately ptior to selling it) as the magnets in the sliders have to be in the correct orientation or they won't make the reed switches work. Remove the battery box and check the soldered connections on the bottom, maybe one of these has come off. The clicking of the sliders is probably nothing, and most likely the springs moving around in their little channels, but it might be related to my first point... |
