Which cells are which

Never having had an oxygen cell go bad, I was wondering as I watch my cell value change on the inspiration classic display, which cells are which?

On the display you have:

Value #1 - Value #2 - Value #3

When I turn my head over and look at the cells (looking at it from the underside where you can see the cells), going clockwise which cells are #1, #2, and #3)? Or are they exactly in order as they would look going clockwise?

The reason I was wondering, is that if I have a slow cell, I want to know which needs replacing, and it could very well be numbered going clockwise from the top of the head (which would work out to counter clockwise looking at them from the bottom).

Re: Which cells are which

Simplest solution is to unplug one cell at the time. I am sure you could correspond to the values shown on the handset.

Then plug it back...

That's one of the first things I did.

And I took a picture and labeled it up.
You can tell it was a long time ago as I still had the blue things in the cells.

The wire to each cell is labelled with its cell number.
If you have a slow/faulty cell, it may not be the cell as such, but the wiring/dirty connector.
Try swapping the cells around, for example, if the value of cell 2 on the handset is showing the error/fault/slowness, then swap cell 2 with number 3 (or number 1 if you wish!!!). If the problem moves with the cell (cell 3's value on the handset is now showing the error) then the cell is the problem. However, if the problem stays with the original cell value (cell 2's value on the handset is still showing an error), then it's either the wiring or the connector of that cell that is dirty/requires cleaning.

Cheers

Giles
